Position Summary
The Preschool Aide supports the Teacher in providing a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for children ages 3–5. This position assists with daily classroom activities, supports student learning and development, and helps foster positive relationships.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist the Teacher with daily classroom activities and supervision of children.
Help maintain attendance, records, and documentation
Support positive communication with parents and families.
Assist with classroom organization and program development.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
At least one year of experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting.
Associate degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
Current CPR and First Aid certification.
Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for preschool-aged children.
Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
Part-Time
9-month position
Salary placement on the Classified Salary Schedule is dependent on education and experience.
