Job Description
Step into a fulfilling role as a School Psychologist, where you'll have the opportunity to positively impact student lives across two vibrant school communities. This full-time, contract position offers the chance to provide essential psychological services onsite for the entire school year, with a home base at a welcoming elementary setting and engagement at both elementary and secondary levels.
As a pivotal support to staff, students, and families, your primary focus will be on conducting comprehensive evaluations. You'll also lend your expertise to Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and child-find initiatives, helping identify and meet the diverse needs of learners. Working collaboratively within two dynamic buildings, you’ll enjoy a varied and stimulating daily experience.
Qualifications & DesiredExperience:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psycho educational evaluations and assessments
- Familiarity with MTSS and child-find processes preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration
- Ability to manage responsibilities across two sites with strong organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering safe, supportive, and inclusive school environments
- Provide timely, comprehensive evaluations for students as required
- Consult with staff on student learning, behavioral concerns, and interventions
- Support MTSS procedures and child-find practices
- Collaborate with educators and families to interpret assessment data
- Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and student support services
- Travel between elementary and secondary buildings as needed
