Job Description

Project Engineer

Lead plant wide CAPEX projects, site extensions, and equipment movement.

Your Contribution Project Management
  • Leads site-wide operation projects, complex initiatives and Capex projects.
  • Provide leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to achieve set objectives.
  • Adhere to the responsibilities and project milestones.
  • Keep project team on schedule and budget.
  • Maintain good communication with project stakeholders and participate.
  • Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables.
  • Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, steering committee and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards.
  • Apply project and program management principles, methods and techniques.
  • Handle change requests.
  • Insure financial project forecasts accuracy.
  • Cooperate with the The Company’s MPM.
Engineering and Machine Technology
  • Evaluate machine purchasing and installation requests.
  • Analyze and illustrate interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs.
  • Define the technical aspects and specifications for requested machines and support equipment.
  • Monitor compliance requirements such as specifications, accepted engineering practices, codes, standards, and applicable safety regulations.
  • Keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods and best practices and advise management in machine related technology questions.
  • Prepare estimates and project plans for manufacturing related projects and activities.
  • Plan, schedule and coordinate engineering and construction work.
  • Make project engineering judgment decisions.
  • Provide data for management decisions using estimates, quotes, layouts, and project plans.
  • Ensure effective stakeholder communication between engineers, architects, contractors and within the organization.
  • Evaluate requirements and develop machine specifications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Your Profile
  • BS Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering preferred.
  • 3-5 years of project engineering experience within a manufacturing setting.
