Room Attendant - MFWAK

Overview

As a Room Attendant – you’ll make sure our rooms and suites are always ‘fresh and welcoming’ for our guests after a busy day at work, creating a haven for them to escape and relax in – or get a bit of last minute work done.

• Ensure rooms are always at their best and meet brand standards; make each room special and memorable for guests.
• Assist guests with needs (e.g., toothbrushes, directions) and provide courteous service.
• Keep your supervisor updated on room service progress and alert them to any repairs needed.
• Follow established safety procedures and wear protective equipment when required.
• Be organized, manage supplies and amenities, and minimize waste.
• Reunite lost items with owners and log lost-and-found property according to procedures.
• Maintain a neat appearance and wear your uniform with pride.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as needed and assist with deep cleaning projects when required.
• May have turndown duties and assist with other duties as assigned.
• Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments to ensure high-quality service.

• This is a physical role and you’ll be on your feet most of the day; physical fitness is important.
• Strength to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms and push/pull heavy objects.
• Ability to bend and kneel to complete activities.
• Literacy in reading, writing, and basic math skills.
• Flexible attitude to shifts; may require work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

The hourly rate for this role is $18.50 to $24.20. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision, insurance, 401k, and other benefits to eligible employees.
