Position Overview

As a Personal Banker within PNC's Retail Banking organization, you will be based in Pensacola, FL. PNC is an in‑office company fostering a collaborative and supportive culture where employees can thrive.

Responsibilities
  • Acquire and deepen the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities.
  • Manage the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve financial wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with ecosystem partners to grow the customer’s share of wallet.
  • Position PNC solutions to drive new revenue and customer loyalty.
  • Drive proactive sales conversations through a defined sales process, including outbound calling, service‑to‑sales, teller interactions, appointment setting, and effective lobby engagement.
  • Deliver a full PNC conversation with every client interaction to identify appropriate solutions.
  • Leverage ecosystem partnerships and community centers of influence to acquire, expand, and retain relationships.
  • Create customer loyalty and grow customer share of wallet through a differentiated experience.
  • Perform lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs.
  • Educate customers on options for managing financial transactions by using technology, tools, and resources.
  • Apply product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate, and solve customer problems effectively.
  • Manage risk through adherence to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within limits.
  • Apply heightened scrutiny to identify and avoid loss.
  • Participate in branch daily operations, ensuring they are completed efficiently and accurately.
Qualifications
  • Preferred skills: accountability, banking, client loyalty, customer experience, customer service, identifying opportunities, leveraging technology, proactive sales competencies, banking products, digital awareness, effective communications, managing multiple priorities, matrix management, problem solving, prospecting, retail lending, selling, understanding customer needs.
  • Work experience:

    3+ years in a related banking or sales role. An associate’s degree or equivalent education is preferred; a comparable combination of education, job‑specific certification, and experience may be considered.
  • Education:

    Associate’s degree or equivalent.
  • Certifications:

    None required.
  • Additional background checks per Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations will be conducted.
