Senior Accountant

• Process bank reconciliations.
• Prepare periodic grant reports for the appropriate grant authorities and submit reports.
• Process and submit periodic grant drawdowns when due.
• Generate financial reports as requested.
• Enter all budget information into Navision.
• Assist CFO or Controller in establishing departmental policies and supervising daily department operations.
• Review and ensure proper coding for expenses including payroll, and adjust journal entries as needed.
• Assist program managers with periodic financial and grant reports.
• Process payments and properly post expenses for large vendors (e.g., Nullagvik Hotel and Vitus).
• Journalize tax liability payments and reconcile with General Ledger.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business major plus three years of relevant experience; equivalent work experience may substitute for the degree.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Working knowledge of network environment (not necessarily with network operating skills).
• Requires annual audit experience.
