Position: Airfield Operations Specialist with Security Clearance
Location: Fort Greely

Duties
* Serves as Allen Army Airfield Operations Manager with responsibilities for managing, organizing,planning, coordinating and directing Airfield Operations.
* Responsible for policy development, implementation, and oversight of the command's Airfield Quality Assurance Evaluation (QAE) and Self-Inspection programs.
* Develops, administers, executes, and monitors the Wildlife/Bird Aircraft Strike Hazard(WASH/BASH) Program in accordance with USDA and AR 95-2 requirements.
* Administers and monitors the maintenance program for all assigned equipment. Is responsible for the policing and maintenance of airfield grounds. Requirements Conditions of employment

Specialized Experience GS-12 One year of specialized experience which includes providing airfield operations support to include crash/rescue airfield procedures, coordinating aviation weather, and overseeing security operations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Time in Grade Requirement:
Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11). Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone -- no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
