The Federal Aviation Administration seeks an Aviation Safety Inspector (AW - General Aviation Maintenance) at the FG-14 level. The PMI plans and directs the use of time and resources to accomplish organizational objectives and provides policy guidance to field inspectors.
ASIs rely on the PMI for evaluating maintenance programs and for expert advice on complex aviation maintenance issues. The PMI represents FAA in regulatory surveillance and ensures safety across a broad GA sector.
