This position is open to Alaskan Residents only.
This position is currently located in Fairbanks.
The position may be in Anchorage or Fairbanks, depending upon the location of the most qualified candidate.
What you will be doing:In this role, you will conduct investigations into allegations of fraud by applicants and recipients of Public Assistance Programs, including the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, Alaska Temporary Assistance Program, Adult Public Assistance Program, and Medicaid Programs. You will prepare cases for criminal prosecution and Administrative Disqualification Hearings.
You will represent the Department in cases presented for Administrative Disqualification Hearings or in criminal proceedings. This position will require phone and in-person contact with witnesses, public assistance recipients, and individuals accused of fraud.
This position requires frequent travel within the State of Alaska.

The working environment you can expect:This position may be located in Anchorage or Fairbanks, depending upon the location of the most qualified candidate.
The Anchorage position is located in the Frontier Building, located in Midtown Anchorage.
The Fairbanks position is located at 675 7th Avenue.
