Blazer Jobs is actively seeking experienced Occupational Therapists (OT) for full-time positions within school districts in the Houston, TX area. We are dedicated to providing exceptional talent to support the educational needs of students while fostering professional growth and development opportunities for our team members.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement occupational therapy interventions to address sensory, motor, and developmental concerns.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' academic and functional goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input regarding students' goals and progress.
• Stay current with best practices and trends in occupational therapy and education.

Requirements:

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Valid Occupational Therapist license issued by the state.
• Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably within a school setting.
• Knowledge of local and state regulations governing occupational therapy services in educational settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
