Cardiovascular Technologist - Cath Lab - Providence Anchorage

Description

Assists cardiovascular physicians in performing and completing invasive, interventional and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures in labs using a variety of advanced equipment, monitors, devices, and supplies. Knowledgeable in vascular, cardiac, and pediatric procedural practice, neuro interventional procedures, as well as emergent techniques/protocol. Performs quality control checks and improvement programs. Works in a team environment, reflecting the Sisters of Providence mission and philosophy.

Observes hospital and departmental confidentiality policies. Patients served range from neonates to senior citizens.

Full Time (40 hours a week) Day Shift

$44.67 - $69.35 per hour (additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities).

• High school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of direct work experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist in cardiovascular and/or interventional radiological procedures.
• Nationally licensed Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) provider (American Heart Association) upon hire.
• Nationally licensed Basic Life Support (BLS) provider (American Heart Association) upon hire.

• Associate’s degree from an accredited school with supervised clinical experience in invasive cardiovascular and/or interventional radiological procedures.
• Previous experience as a Cath Lab Cardiovascular Technologist or in other special procedures.
