Job Description
:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide consistent 1-on-1 support to a 9th grade male student in an AS classroom near Allentown, PA. The student has autism and exhibits middle to high intensity behaviors, including seizures. Training will be provided on seizure protocol. The student carries a helmet and backpack with supplies at all times.
- Provide 1-on-1 support to a 9th grade male student.
- Implement behavior intervention plans and support the student in an AS classroom.
- Monitor and manage the student's behavior and seizures.
- Maintain detailed records of the student's progress and behavior.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure the student's needs are met.
- National RBT certification (required).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with older students with moderate to severe caseloads (required).
- Experience with students with autism and behavioral challenges.
- Ability to follow specific protocols and procedures for seizure management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
