Baptist Health is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer for our Ultrasound Department at Baptist Clay in Fleming Island, Florida. This is a PRN, various shifts opportunity.
At Baptist Health, our Diagnostic Sonographers play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care through advanced imaging by performing high-quality ultrasound examinations, assisting physicians, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients.
Responsibilities- Performs high-quality, diagnostic ultrasound and peripheral vascular procedures.
- Promotes goodwill among coworkers and other departments, and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
- Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
- 1-2 Years of experience working in a hospital setting.
- Hospital-based department-specific work experience.
- Experience with vascular ultrasound.
- Customer service experience.
- Driver's License – DMV
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA
- Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) – CCI – Cardiovascular
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) – ARDMS
- Registered Radiologic Technologist – ARRT – ARRT
- Registered Technologist in Sonography – ARRT
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) – ARDMS
