Baptist Health is seeking a motivated individual to join the Baptist team as a Health Unit Coordinator on the Surgical Services Unit. This Health Unit Coordinator role is a Full-Time Days opportunity working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm and is located at Baptist Medical Center Clay in Fleming Island, Florida.
We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have confidence working in a clerical role. Health Unit Coordinators (HUCs) are responsible for secretarial activities of the nursing unit.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
- Answering call lights and phone calls promptly
- Ordering and taking inventory of unit supplies and equipment
- Greeting and assisting all customers while adhering to service excellence principles
- Maintaining a neat and orderly nursing station
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Experience Requirements:
Education & Credential Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- Associate's Degree Preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
