Job Summary
Provide therapeutic interventions and treatments as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist to assist patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with exercises and therapeutic activities.
- Administer treatments such as hot and cold packs, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation.
- Monitor patient progress and report observations to the Physical Therapist.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
- Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment.
- Instruct patients and families in home exercise programs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Per diem schedule may be available.
- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience in a rehabilitative setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in therapeutic exercise techniques.
- Knowledge of rehabilitative modalities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Good organizational and documentation skills.
- Physical Therapy
- May be required to float to similar units or facilities as needed.
