Direct Support Professional/Autistic Support

Quakertown, PA

Part-time

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour

6:00 pm - 9:30 pm, any weekday, Monday through Friday. Flexible Saturday and Sunday hours.

We are currently seeking a responsible and reliable individual to work directly with an autistic young adult within the Quakertown area. The position involves providing in-home and community-based Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) support as part of a knowledgeable behavioral team. The individual you will be working with is pleasant, fun to be around, has a good sense of humor, loves reading, and has a keen ability to learn new skills.

She thrives with structure, routines, and the use of technology.

• Implementing the techniques of ABA and following the Positive Behavioral Support Plan (PBSP).
• Collecting data on the individual's progress and behaviors.
• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Providing positive reinforcement and support in accordance with the ABA approach.
• Maintaining regular communication with the behavioral team and the individual's family.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
• Completion of RBT coursework and/or RBT certification (preferred).
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) qualification.
• NADD Certification.
• Experience working with adults with Autism required.
• Familiarity with ABA techniques and principles required.
