The Clinical Informaticist I/II supports clinical teams in the effective use and adoption of the Oracle Health (Cerner) EHR system. In this role, you will collaborate closely with providers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to leverage technology in ways that streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and improve patient care within the Maniilaq Health System (MHS). This position requires strong communication and customer service skills, the flexibility to work non-traditional hours when needed, and proficiency with computers and clinical software applications.
This role will report to the Director of Clinical Informatics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, Health Informatics, or a related clinical field preferred. Associate’s degree with relevant experience considered.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of clinical informatics experience, preferably with Oracle Health (Cerner) or other major EHR system (Epic, Meditech, eClinicalWorks).
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows in hospital and outpatient settings.
- Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency with healthcare IT systems and applications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Flexibility to work alternative schedules, including evenings or weekends, as required.
