The employee occupying the position of this class is responsible for completing assigned tasks as a basic firefighter assigned to a crew under direct supervision at various emergency scenes.
This is a non bargaining unit. Pay Grade A1;
Minimum requirements include completion of Mat-Su Borough Basic Firefighter course or equivalent, Alaska driver's license, age 19+, and various safety and ICS training.
Duties cover attack hose lines, victim searches, ventilation, equipment care, and station
