Baptist Health Endoscopy Technologist (PRN)

Baptist Health is looking for an experienced Endoscopy Technologist to support our Endoscopy Team at Baptist Medical Center Clay. This is a PRN position.

As an Endoscopy Technologist, you will work as part of the surgical services teams in the Endoscopy unit. The individual will assist the team during procedures, ensure a sterile environment, hand instruments to surgeons during procedures, and maintain patient safety. Throughout the day, precision, attention to detail, and teamwork are paramount in providing quality patient care.

• Assembling, organizing and maintaining a sterile field for operative procedures
• Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and progression of the case and prepare accordingly
• Proper disposition of specimens and instruments
• Works with entire surgical team to minimize anesthesia time and promote patient safety

Call is required for this position.

• Less than 1 year Surgical Technologist Experience
• Less than 1 year Endoscopy Technologist Experience Required

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• High School Diploma Required

• Driver's License - DMV
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA
• Advanced GI Technical Specialist (AGTS) - SGNA
• Certified GI Technical Specialist (GTS) - SGNA
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - NBSTSA
