- Health screenings and preventive care
- Infectious disease monitoring and treatment

As a Public Health Nurse 3, you’ll bring expert-level care, contribute to quality improvement efforts, and travel periodically to outlying communities to deliver care where it’s needed most.

The working environment you can expectDillingham sits on Nushagak Bay at the mouth of the Nushagak River, an inlet of Bristol Bay in southwestern Alaska. It serves as the regional hub for Bristol Bay’s salmon fishery, home to the world’s largest wild sockeye runs and other Pacific salmon species. Dillingham is also the headquarters for the nearby Togiak National Wildlife Refuge, home to walruses, seals, migratory birds, and fish, and includes one of the largest wild herring fisheries in the world.
Dillingham is most easily reached by air and is 360 air miles from Anchorage.
