Behavior Technician Substitute – work when you want!
Kelly Pediatric Therapyis seeking
Behavior Technician (BT) substitutes to provide short term, “on demand” coverage across multiple school districtsto fill same day andshort termopenings for 1-1 and classroom support roles.
Thisis a“work when you want” role, offeringhighlevel of flexibility and choice in the shifts you workand can vary week to week based on your schedule and the needs of the districts inand around Reading and Oley, PA. These are day time school schedule hours only, no evenings or weekends available. These roles would begin for the 2026/2027 school year
- Implementindividual and classroom-based behavioral programming,atthe direction of supervising case manager(s) and classroom teacher(s)
- Record relevant intervention data
- Provide assistance to students toeffectivelyandindependentlyparticipatein classroom and building activities
- Implement challenging behavior interventions strategies for students with escalated behaviors
- Consistently arrive on timeand fulfill coverage shifts, and communicate any changes in availability as soon as possible
- Comply withpoliciesestablishedby federal and state law, State Board of Education rules, and School District policies.?
- Demonstrate sound judgement, critical thinking, decision making, and effective time management skills
- Choice of shifts you cover to offer ultimate flexibility in your schedule
- Substitute shifts are available as morning half shifts, afternoon half shifts, or full shifts (with times determined by the standard times of each position)

Qualifications- High school diploma
- Experience working / volunteering with children, preferably children with disabilities
- Must have reliable transportation to access schools youselect to cover in
- Must have access to a computer or smart phone to use the Frontline Absence Management system
- Must pass state & federal background checks & clearances, drug test, and physical, as required by each district
