NEW ALASKA OPPORTUNITY — ASAP START!
Looking for an experienced Pharmacy Director interested in an interim leadership assignment in Juneau. This is a 13-week+ opportunity with potential for temp-to-hire for the right candidate.
Position Details- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 13 weeks+
- Schedule: Full-time leadership role
- Setting: 60-bed hospital
- Temp-to-hire candidates preferred; experienced travelers considered
- Housing/travel assistance: Housing pass-through may be available due to the cost of living in Juneau
- Provide overall leadership and oversight of the pharmacy department
- Manage pharmacy personnel and departmental operations
- Ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met
- Oversee pharmacy budgeting and financial operations
- Manage purchasing and inventory
- Support quality improvement and operational initiatives
- Provide leadership and direction to pharmacy staff
- Current/recent hospital Director of Pharmacy (DOP) experience required
- Hospital pharmacy leadership and department oversight experience
- Experience managing pharmacy personnel, compliance, budgeting, and purchasing
- Alaska Pharmacist License required
- Candidates without an Alaska license must be able to obtain one quickly
- Alaska currently does not require a pharmacy law exam
