Job Qualifications
  • High school diploma/equivalent required, college education preferred
  • Previous medical office or receptionist experience preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency with computers, phone systems, and scheduling software
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude required
Job Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls efficiently
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
  • Check patients in and out of appointments
  • Verify patient information and update medical records as needed
  • Handle insurance verification, referrals, and basic billing inquiries
  • Collect copayments and process payments
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area
  • Communicate effectively with providers, clinical staff, and patients
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence (phone, email, fax)
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
