Role Overview
Perform diagnostic medical sonographic exams under supervision, assist physicians, and perform related duties.
Must maintain a professional demeanor, collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, and communicate well.
Patients range from infants to geriatrics.
Qualifications & Skills- Completion of an accredited Ultrasound training program or equivalent education/experience to qualify for ARDMS registry exam.
- Within 1 year of hire:
National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. - At hire: BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 2 years Ultrasound Tech experience.
- Perform diagnostic sonographic exams accurately.
- Assist physicians as needed during procedures.
- Adhere to organizational policies and uphold professional standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
