Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A healthcare facility in Bensalem, PA is seeking a skilled Home Infusion Pharmacist for a contract position. This role focuses on sterile compounding within a controlled environment, emphasizing patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Duration:

• Approximately 8+ weeks

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare customized sterile medications such as IV fluids using strict aseptic techniques.
• Verify sterile preparations to ensure accuracy and safety.
• Enforce compliance with USP and other relevant standards.
• Oversee and coordinate pharmacy technicians assisting in sterile compounding.
• Maintain and clean cleanroom equipment regularly.
• Perform final inspections on compounded preparations prior to distribution.

Qualifications and Desired

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent sterile compounding experience.
• Active and clear PA pharmacy license.
• Proficient with computer systems and pharmacy software.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.

Work Environment:

• Supported by one pharmacy technician with low volume workflow.
