Chef / Breakfast Chef Position at a Great Place to Work®-Certified Workplace

We are looking for a CHEF / BREAKFAST CHEF to join our skilled and relaxed team in Luosto for the winter season  for a fixed-term and part-time or full-time (90-112.5h/3 weeks) position. In this role, you will contribute to implementing the chain's new breakfast concept and support the à la carte tasks as well as assist during busy periods. Morning shifts also include customer service in the dining area and cleaning duties.

Evening shifts are structured around serving half-board dinners for our guests.

You use good judgement and are a self-directed team player who can carry responsibility and stay calm even when things get busy. In your work, you also foster a positive mindset and interact with others in a warm and caring manner.

Previous experience and/or education in kitchen tasks and restaurant services are especially beneficial. This position is also well suited for someone seeking additional experience in kitchen work and eager to learn.

We expect you to have:

• Education and/or experience as a chef
• A cheerful and good-humored service attitude
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and work well under pressure
• A touch of creativity and willingness to learn more
• A valid hygiene passport
• English language skills;
  Finnish language skills are highly recommended

The hotel also houses one of the area's top-rated restaurants, featuring a lava stone grill in an open kitchen. The hotel has 30 rooms and 10 glass-roofed igloos.
