Job Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity, based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role is vital to our organization as it involves executive-level leadership and guidance to our HR operations, setting, enforcing, and evaluating human resources policies, procedures, and best practices, and identifying and implementing long-range strategic talent management goals.
Responsibilities- Steering the daily operations of the HR department and ensuring its smooth functioning
- Collaborating with the executive leadership to define the organization's long-term mission and goals, and identifying ways to support this mission through effective talent management
- Setting key performance indicators for the organization's human resource and talent management functions and assessing the organization's success and market competitiveness based on these metrics
- Leading the research, development, and implementation of competitive compensation, benefits, performance appraisal, and employee incentive programs
- Providing guidance and leadership to the human resource management team and assisting with the resolution of human resource, compensation, and benefits questions, concerns, and issues
- Ensuring compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements
- Keeping abreast with the knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management
- Undertaking other duties as assigned by the executive leadership
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in human resources
- Proven experience in management and operations
- Ability to develop and implement KPI reporting methods
- Experience with annual compensation planning, compliance, and benefits administration
- Proven ability to conduct employee training and career development programs
- Knowledge of headcount management
- Experience in benefits analysis and coordination
- Strong understanding of compensation and benefits
