Job TitleDeployment Technician
Top Skills- One or more years of experience deploying and reimaging PCs in a corporate setting
- Knowledge of Active Directory - adding and removing users
- Experience replacing hardware and minor break/fix - hardware troubleshooting of PCs, monitors, laptops, printers, etc.
- Background with software installation and software
- Prep and build equipment, including PCs, terminals, and printers
- Deploy equipment to designated areas within the departments
- Remove old equipment, as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge of Active Directory - adding and removing users is helpful
Knowledge of SCCM is helpful
Hardware is established in the environment, more software cutovers.
Technicians will be deploying equipment in support of. Some departments may be as simple as monitor replacement, but some work might be more technical and technicians should be capable of that more technical work.

Process OverviewBeginning phases of the project involve procuring data and a full inventory of the environment’s current state, followed by Future State Walks to project out how workflows will function with Epic. Current & Future State Walks are followed by hands‑on deployments of the hardware. A script will guide techs to ensure proper deployment. After deployments the team enters the Technical Dress Rehearsal (TDR) phase to fully test the environment.
Finally, Go‑Live is when Epic is fully functional and the team supports end‑users during Go‑Live and post‑Go‑Live support.

- Motivated, team player who has a flexible schedule and is eager to learn and grow.
Deployments must be completed before EPIC go‑live date; otherwise patient documents and charts will not run on the most up‑to‑date EMR software.
Work EnvironmentExtremely fast‑paced. Hours may fluctuate, may go past 5 pm, weekend work. Flexibility of resources is key.
Hours:
8 AM – 5 PM Monday‑Friday, subject to change throughout duration of the project as needs/phases progress.
