IT Support Technician
Must live within 35 miles of Lancaster, PA 17603. We are looking for local candidates.
We are seeking an MSP IT Support Specialist to join our team! You will be tasked with a variety of projects to support and improve our client’s network computing systems.
Responsibilities- IT Support related to issues with the internal computing systems and network infrastructure of clients.
- IT Support related to Windows Servers and Workstations Operating Systems, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, One Drive, Email, and Network Security.
- Support 3rd party solutions – Antivirus, Backup, Malware, MFA, and other solutions.
- Administer cloud solutions for customers.
- Monitor and respond to alerts generated from RMM tools.
- Install VOIP telephone systems.
- Install physical equipment in racks, mount of walls, etc. Run cable, test, terminate, and maintain clean cable organization.
- Administration and maintenance of the remote monitoring and management system: update agent scripts, monitor dashboard, and conduct periodic system review.
- Document maintenance for all computer systems and network infrastructure.
- Communicate and provide customer service to client end‑users: keep them informed of incident progress, notify them of impending changes or agreed outages.
- Ability to use tools such as drills, saws, fishing equipment; run wire; hang racks, TVs, etc.
- Ability to work on a team to deliver projects such as Office 365 migrations, network builds, on‑premise installations, upgrades, and implementations; project management.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
- Ability to manage short‑term and long‑term projects and staged implementations.
- Business sense: ability to learn the nuances of the customer’s business and how IT relates to their business strategy and goals.
- Maintain excellent standards in customer service and satisfaction of clients.
- Complete tickets and projects efficiently.
- Record time and expenses associated with projects and tickets.
- Continue technical training and certifications to keep up with demand and improve client satisfaction.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent and 5+ years of experience.
- Advanced professional IT certifications.
- Remote Management and Monitoring (RMM) experience is preferred.
- Experience in Active Directory/Entra Domain Services required.
- Managed Service Provider (MSP) experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems.
- Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services.
