We are seeking an experienced Automation ETL QA Lead, responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our data integration processes.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) testing, automation, and data validation.
The Automation ETL QA will work closely with our data engineering team to identify and resolve data quality issues, develop and maintain automated tests, and ensure data integrity.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute manual and automated tests for ETL processes
- Design and implement data validation rules and data quality checks
- Collaborate with data engineers to identify and resolve data quality issues
- Develop and maintain automated tests using tools like Selenium, Appium, or Pytest
- Work with data analysts to ensure data integrity and accuracy
- Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data integration and testing
- 5+ years of experience in ETL testing, automation, or data validation
- Strong understanding of data integration concepts and ETL tools (e.g., Event Hub, ADF, Data Bricks)
- Experience with automation testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Pytest)
- Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or C#
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience working in an agile development environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence tools
- Knowledge of data modeling and data governance
