Seize your opportunity to make a personal impact as an Operations Planner & Configuration Manager supporting our USAF Base Infrastructure Modernization contract. You will coordinate base‑related activities, ensuring the executing team, operational team, and government counterparts are aware of future activities and that all changes align with the Configuration Management Plan.
Responsibilities- Implement and maintain configuration management processes, tools, and infrastructure in alignment with the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
- Support the development of the Configuration Management Plan (CMP).
- Use the configuration management database (CMDB) to record changes, seek approval from the appropriate government counterpart before implementation, and ensure compliance with the CMP.
- Coordinate with operational teams and government stakeholders to keep all parties informed of upcoming activities.
- Assist with the planning of DoW planning tools and other configuration management IT tools.
- Prepare and deliver briefings to leadership and collaborate with remote team members worldwide.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain).
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Arts or Science).
- Minimum 5 years of related experience in configuration management or operations planning.
- Proficiency with DoW planning tools and configuration management IT tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with ITIL Foundation and ITSM processes.
- Service Now, AF Planning, and other configuration management tools.
Salary range: $107,744 – $124,200 (subject to experience and location). Benefits include a 401(k) with company match, comprehensive health, dental, and vision plans, paid vacation, holidays, and additional paid time off such as sick leave, personal days, and military leave.
Work EnvironmentOn‑site at Eielson AFB, Alaska. The role requires less than 10% travel.
