Web Sphere Portal Administrator
My name is Bill Stevens and I have a new eight month plus Web Sphere Portal Administrator opportunity available for a major firm with offices in Holmdel, New Jersey and Bethlehem, Pennsylvania that could be of interest to you, please review my specification below. The work schedule will be hybrid, three days a week in the office and two days remote.
The ideal candidate should also possess a green card or be of citizenship.
This position pays $85.00 per hour on a w-2 hourly basis or $95.00 per hour on a Corp basis. The Corp rate is for independent contractors only and not third-party firms. No Visa entanglements and no H1-B holding companies.
Qualifications- 10+ years of experience
- Expert level experience in Web Sphere Portal on Linux
- Knowledge of Web Sphere Network deployment on Linux, AIX, Windows
- 3-5 years experience working with IBM Security Verify Access WebSEAL
- Exposure to cloud technologies like AWS and exposure to Dev/Ops
- The ability to accelerate impact, lead change and work under minimal supervision..
- Lead the upgrade of Web Sphere Portal deployments and automation
- Provide on-call support on rotation basis
- Work on AWS cloud migration projects
- Work with on-site and off-shore teams
- Provide hands-on technical solutions to business challenges & translates them into process/technical solutions.
- Design, development, and delivery of WAS application including Clustering through network deployment.
- Develop advanced technological ideas and guides development into a final product.
- Middleware technologies scope of patching/upgrade work including Web Sphere application server, and Tomcat, Apigee.
- Work with development teams to create/configure new middleware instances required by the project, including web Servers, Application Servers.
