Claims Adjuster – Attorney Represented Injury

Position Summary

As a claims adjuster specialist, you’ll manage attorney‑represented bodily injury claims, assess coverage, liability, and damages, and negotiate settlements directly with attorneys. You will work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Anchorage, AK

• Determine coverage and liability
• Negotiate with claimants or their attorneys
• Settle claims and set reserves
• Estimate cost of treatment or compensation for those injured in accidents
• Analyze and interpret medical reports, follow up with no‑fault parties, and manage the claims process to ensure efficient resolution
• Interview, collect and document information from claimants, agents/brokers, attorneys, and police

• Four years of relevant work experience with one year in claims handling
• {OR} Associate’s degree and three years relevant work experience with one year in claims handling
• {OR} Bachelor’s degree and one year in claims handling
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance

• Auto and/or commercial insurance experience
• 12 months injury claims experience

• Pay range: $75,600 to $98,000 depending on experience
• Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 16% of eligible earnings based on company performance
