Job Title: Associate Attorney - Environment, Energy & Resources
Location: Anchorage, Alaska (Hybrid Position)
Overview: The Client is seeking a mid-level associate to join our esteemed Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources law practice group. This position will be based in our Anchorage, Alaska office, with the opportunity to collaborate with our nationwide practice group. The focus will be on natural resources, environmental, and commercial issues relevant to resource development companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel on natural resources and environmental issues, including compliance and regulatory matters.
- Assist clients in navigating commercial challenges related to resource development.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy and client advice.
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, briefs, and memoranda.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to develop innovative legal solutions.
- Participate in business development initiatives and contribute to client relationship management.
- Stay informed about legal developments and trends in the energy and natural resources sectors.
- 2-5 years of relevant legal experience in environmental, energy, or natural resources law, with a preference for candidates with judicial clerkship experience.
- Strong academic performance and a solid educational background from an accredited law school.
- Demonstrated writing proficiency through law review, journal, clerkship, or practice experience.
- Excellent references and a reputation for professionalism and integrity.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
