Zamboni Driver

Polar Ice is looking to add Zamboni drivers to our growing team!

As a Zamboni Driver, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the ice resurfacing machine at the rink. You will work closely with other ice rink staff to ensure the safety of all skaters and maintain a high-quality skating surface.

• Operate the Zamboni machine to resurface the ice rink after each use.
• Ensure the safety of all skaters by following proper safety procedures.
• Assist with putting nets on and off the ice for practices, games, and other events.
• Assist with routine maintenance of the Zamboni and facility as needed.
• Ensure the ice is properly leveled and free of debris.
• Complete ice maintenance such as edging.

• Experience operating a Zamboni machine preferred, however we are willing to train the right candidates.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• The ability to lift/move nets onto and off of the ice independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Maintaining a positive attitude in the workplace.

• Pay rate will be depending upon experience.
• Typical hourly rate for this position is $25-$30 per hour.
• Overtime paid at time and a half.
• Paychecks issued weekly.

There is flexibility with scheduling. The rink is open 7 days a week and we will have multiple full time and part time employees working together to cover all needed shifts.
