Position Summary
Responsible for maintenance and repairs of tunnel assets including electrical/mechanical equipment, tunnel portals, equipment rooms, ventilation systems, drainage systems, tunnel fire extinguishers, tunnel and equipment room lighting, electronic display signs, emergency telephones, closed circuit TV cameras, and lane signals within the tunnels and roadways covered by the project.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities- Provides basic maintenance and repair of tunnels, buildings, company vehicles, emergency response equipment, electrical/mechanical equipment, ventilation systems, lighting, emergency telephones, CCTV systems, doors, and other items using hand tools or powered equipment (pneumatic, hydraulic, gas, and electric).
- Painting and restoration of the staging area light poles, curbs, sidewalks, and other designated areas.
- Maintain clean appearance of facility through cleaning and litter/debris removal and disposal.
- Must be comfortable working from heights in a bucket truck or using ladders.
- Keeps roadways free of debris, including ice and snow using snow removal equipment.
- Transports crew and equipment to work sites operating large trucks.
- Carry out all duties in line with Company policies and procedures as amended from time to time.
- Creates safe maintenance of traffic (MOT) by setting up and removing traffic control devices, including cones, temporary signage, etc.
