We are looking for a reliable and service-oriented School Janitor – Cleaner in Kobuk, AK. This on‑call custodial position starts at $19.50 per hour and may include rotation to other NANA villages.

As a School Janitor – Cleaner, you will maintain the cleanliness and appearance of school facilities. Your day‑to‑day duties include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, sanitizing high‑touch areas, restocking supplies, and performing light maintenance such as changing light bulbs. You remove trash and transport it to the appropriate areas. At the end of each shift, you will see the school shine.

A day in the life of a School Janitor – Cleaner requires you to arrive for each custodial shift ready to get to work, and to stay friendly and service‑oriented while working efficiently. You will check off tasks for satisfaction and maintain a clean environment.

• At least 6 months of experience that demonstrates a working knowledge of cleaning equipment and general cleaning processes.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and call‑outs.
• Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a 3‑year driving record acceptable to the company’s insurance carrier.
