The Director of Contracts & Grants is responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing the policies, processes, and systems related to contracts and grants to manage contracts & grants org-wide, including but not limited to those at the Maniilaq Health Center (MHC). This position works cooperatively with managers across the organization and reports to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesMinimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience. Five years direct experience managing contracts. Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing. Ability to use a computer or other office equipment. Ability to use computer software to maintain records.
Skills, Knowledge and AbilitiesAbility to review a wide range of contracts/documents. Strong written, verbal and analytical skills. Highly motivated, detail-oriented, strong team contributor. Ability to work well with people, prioritize work, learn, and manage conflicting deadlines.
Physical DemandsAbility to consistently manipulate computer and office equipment. Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull at least 20 pounds. Must be able to work accurately and efficiently in a busy and sometimes stressful position.
Environmental ConditionsMost work is performed in an administrative office environment with moderate noise level. Workload periodically requires work beyond standard business hours. Travel to urban and rural settings may be required.
