Child and Youth Services (CYS) Facility Director
Location: Fort Greely, Alaska
Eligibility:
Open to all U.S. Citizens
Salary: $69,789 - $88,058 per year (Plus an authorized 3.00% Cost of Living Allowance)
The Role:Step into a leadership role that makes a real difference! We are seeking a dedicated Facility Director to lead the Child and Youth Services (CYS) Middle School/Teen Center at Fort Greely. You will oversee the program's daily operations, manage budgets, and ensure a safe, enriching environment for military youth.

- Facility Leadership: Administer all aspects of the facility, including budgeting, financial management, and compliance.
- Team Supervision: Serve as the first-line supervisor, managing staff, conducting performance reviews, and guiding subordinate supervisors.
- Program Excellence: Ensure the delivery of developmentally appropriate programs that promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth of youth.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain strict accountability for child safety and ensure the program meets all Federal, DoD, and local regulatory standards.
- Education: A Bachelor’s or advanced degree in youth development, youth administration, secondary education, physical education, special education, or a directly related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 24 months working in group youth programs, which must include at least 12 months of demonstrated experience managing an entire cycle of operation for a CYS facility (budgeting, facility/supply management, curriculum oversight, and hiring/supervising staff).
- Bonus Points: Candidates with prior DoD CYS Youth Center or DoD CYS Youth Sports & Fitness experience are highly preferred!
