CNC Machinist

Location: Nikiski

Primary Responsibilities

* Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts that meet quality and production standards

* Monitor machine performance and make necessary tool adjustments or replacements

* Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate machining

* Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges

* Support company goals by maintaining efficiency, quality, and safety in all operations

Job Duties

* Run production lots and communicate effectively with team members regarding job status and output

* Perform routine machine shop operations, including setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting

* Identify and report defective materials or nonconforming parts to management

* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, including proper removal of metal shavings and debris

* Follow all company quality standards, policies, and procedures

* Actively participate in safety programs and adhere to all HSE requirements

* Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Qualifications

* High School Diploma or GED preferred

* Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience required with the ability to independently perform setups and program edits; 5+ years preferred.

* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

* Experience using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

* Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
