2nd Shift CNC Machinist​/Programmer

Job Description

Newlife Staffing is currently seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer for our 2nd shift. As a CNC Machinist/Programmer, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations by programming, setting up, and operating Fadal and HAAS CNC Machining Centers. Additionally, you will be responsible for setting up and running conventional lathes, milling centers, and other machine shop equipment.

• Input G & M codes and program CNC machinery to ensure accurate and efficient machining processes.
• Set up and operate Fadal and HAAS CNC Machining Centers, as well as conventional lathes, milling centers, and other related machinery.
• Understand and follow program sequences to execute machining operations effectively.
• Utilize various measuring devices such as rules, squares, protractors, micrometers, tape measures, and other tools to ensure precise measurements and quality control.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in programming and operating CNC machinery.
• Strong knowledge of G & M codes and program sequencing.
• Proficiency in operating knee mills, conventional lathes, drills, and other related machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with measuring devices and the ability to accurately use them for quality control purposes.

• Full-time position, working 4x10s from Monday to Thursday, from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM.
• Competitive pay ranges from $23.36 to $37.80 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.
