Job Description
Progressive Machining Co. is seeking an experienced CNC machinist to operate Haas CNC. The machinist will set up and operate machinery for various jobs.
Responsibilities- Setup and program machinery
- Identify material to be cut
- Accurately read a tape measure and customer's drawings
- Lift and move heavy objects (50lb+)
- Use a grinder to grind edges of material
- Inspect cut products ensuring the accuracy
- Maintain equipment
- Keep work area clean
- Work efficiently and safely to ensure jobs are completed meeting deadlines
- Assist co‑workers when needed and be a team player
- Perform other reasonable tasks when necessary as requested by supervisors
- The responsibilities are not limited to this list
- Monday-Thursday 7am-4:30pm, Friday 7am-11am
