Job Title: Glass Lathe Operator
Job Location: Williamsport, PA

We are seeking a dedicated and detail‑oriented individual to perform internal‑training lathe and glass operations. The Glass Lathe Operator is responsible for the setup and operation of equipment to fabricate sub‑assemblies that support production requirements, and must maintain a commitment to accuracy in specific molding and sealing operations. Cross‑training in other departments may be required as needed.

• Manual setup of equipment and components to specific processes.
• Perform various glass lathe operations according to the Sequence of Events (Work Instructions).
• Use micrometers or calipers to verify specification requirements.
• Conduct visual inspection with a microscope to verify proper seals and ensure no imperfections.
• Review assembly drawings/prints for dimensional conformance.
• Make glass‑to‑metal seals using soft and hard glass along with various metals.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma required.
• Mechanical abilities with good manual dexterity.
• Prior work experience with small hand tools.
• Lathe usage experience preferred.
• Understanding of the working properties of glass preferred.
