JOB SUMMARY

The Inventory Coordinator position reports to the Inventory Specialist, Inventory Planner, and the Materials Supervisor with interfacing among other client and contractor personnel. Primary job duties will oversee all inventories counts and accuracy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Work with Material Planners, Maintenance personnel, and Craft leads to “dispose of or return to stock excess materials after completion of jobs, Inventory control for off-site locations in Kuparuk field.

Use one or more computerized systems or databases to develop, maintain, and report material status, to include creating FR’s or Excel spreadsheets to transfer, stage, issue and return material.

Candidate must be able to follow instructions from Inventory Specialist, Supervision and be able to read and understand SOPs.

Must have analytical and organizational skills.

Multiple disciplines include interfacing and coordination with Client and company personnel for production, engineering, construction, maintenance, purchasing departments, as well as vendors and other contractors.

Coverage for vacant positions as needed, bin maintenance, and baggage handling.

Must be self-motivated and able to work with limited direction and supervision.

Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.

Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.

Other duties will be assigned to this position as needed.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

A valid (U.S issued) Driver’s License is required.

A North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) safety training certification is required.

The ability to work 84 hours a week on a 2x2 rotation is required.

At least five (5) years of experience in the receiving, inspection, stocking, staging, packaging, inventory, issue, shipping and delivering functions and the warehousing systems is required.

Familiarity with construction and maintenance materials and tools is required.

Proficiency with SAP, Excel, Word, and Outlook is required.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Five (5) or more years of experience working as an Inventory Coordinator specifically in the Petrochemical or Oil and Gas industry, on the North Slope, and/or in other Arctic environment is preferred.
