JOB SUMMARY

The Willow Logistic Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting the day-to-day receipt, inventory control, preparation, and shipment of materials for the Kuparuk Materials Group. This position works closely with clients, material planners, material technicians, loaders, expediters, third-party trucking providers, Herc Coordinators, and other stakeholders to ensure materials are accurately received, properly documented, prepared, and transported in a safe and timely manner.

The Logistic Coordinator maintains accurate material records and inventory information, ensures materials are properly labeled and marked, and coordinates material requests and reservations through the material tracking system. This role also supports continuous improvement and system functionality by working with IT to address issues and implement necessary updates to the material tracker application.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Coordinate and oversee the receiving of materials, ensuring items are accurately received, identified, and documented.

  • Process and fulfill material requests and reservations in accordance with operational requirements and established procedures.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure material quantities and locations are properly tracked.

  • Ensure all materials are properly labeled, marked, identified, and prepared in accordance with applicable requirements.

  • Coordinate the preparation, packaging, staging, and movement of materials for transportation.

  • Work closely with clients and Material Planners to coordinate material requirements, priorities, and assigned tasks.

  • Coordinate with Material Technicians, Loaders, Expediters, and third-party trucking providers to ensure materials are pulled, packaged, loaded, and shipped as required.

  • Monitor material movements and ensure all applicable information is accurately recorded and maintained in the material tracking application.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information within the material tracker to provide reliable visibility of material status and location.

  • Work with IT personnel to troubleshoot, maintain, and implement required changes or improvements to the material tracking application.

  • Coordinate with the Herc Coordinator to ensure materials are properly prepared, staged, and shipped according to operational schedules and requirements.

  • Communicate material status, shipping requirements, and potential issues to appropriate personnel to support timely resolution and minimize operational delays.

  • Assist with identifying and resolving discrepancies involving materials, inventory, documentation, and shipments.

  • Ensure material handling and logistics activities are performed safely and in accordance with applicable company policies, procedures, and site requirements.

  • Perform other material coordination, logistics, and administrative duties as assigned.

  • Serve as a technical mentor and team leader by sharing operational knowledge, promoting safe work practices, mentoring and coaching less experienced employees, fostering their professional development and technical skills, and contributing to the overall development and effectiveness of the crew.
