Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 range based on experience

The SAE role is a vital one in our firm, often serving as the day-to-day point of contact for clients, as well as the project manager for all work -- from media relations to thought leadership/executive positioning to social/digital content and beyond. The SAE directs, leads, motivates, teaches, mentors Account Coordinators, Assistant Account Executives and Account Executives. The SAE fosters excellent communication and rapport with clients and may personally execute a majority of tactical recommendations in a plan to generate measurable results for a client, or will appropriately delegate and carefully supervise such tactical execution.
The SAE will also have the ability to lead the strategic planning process for a client.
PLEASE NOTE: 3 years of experience in public relations is absolutely required for this position, preferably in an agency setting.
Our ideal candidate has:- 3-6 years total of agency experience or applicable communication, PR, marketing communication or journalism experience
- Excellent tactical writing skills, including press releases, pitch letters, media alerts, speeches, collateral copy, bylined articles, op-eds, presentations, case studies, digital content and client and/or internal emails
- Excellent public speaking/interpersonal skills, especially for the purposes of client presentations, client meetings and new business pitches
- Excellent analytical, multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment with competing deadlines
- Excellent judgement and problem-solving skills, and the ability to make strategic, sound recommendations to clients, peers and management
