Caseload: 1:1 Nursing, Multiple Needs
Pay Range:$35 - 42
/hr

• Administering medication and treatments as prescribed by physicians and following school policies and procedures.
• Monitoring and managing students with chronic health conditions, such as asthma, diabetes, allergies, etc.
• Assessing and addressing injuries or illnesses that may occur during school hours.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date health records for all students.
• Communicating with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding student health concerns.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized healthcare plans.
• Participating in health screenings, immunization programs, and health education initiatives.
• Maintaining a clean and organized healthcare facility within the school premises.

• Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Experience working as an LPN in a school, pediatric, or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to assess, identify, and respond to medical emergencies promptly and efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Empathetic, passionate, and patient-focused approach to care.
• Proficient in maintaining accurate and organized health records.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
