Night Certified Nursing Assistant; CNA

Overview

Full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Applingwood Post Acute, Cordova, TN, US.

• Support assigned residents with routine daily activities and nursing care in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as directed by supervisors.
• Identify residents using wristbands or photos before administering treatments or serving meals as necessary.
• Record entries on flow sheets (ADLs, I&Os, meals consumed, vitals, bowel and bladder, or as requested by the charge nurse) in a clear and legible manner using authorized abbreviations.
• Report changes in the resident’s condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Report accidents and incidents as they occur.
• Transport residents to activity locations as assigned.
• Monitor and supervise residents at all times to ensure safety.
• Assist in passing meal trays and ensure correct tray delivery to the correct resident.
• Assist and participate in a hydration program and assist residents during meals as needed.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in TN.
• Active BLS/CPR certification.
