The Primary Care Nurse is in charge of resident care for a specific group of residents, supervising team members and coordinating referrals to the clinical support team, families, and physicians. This role supports nursing services delivered by the team and is directly accountable to the Director of Nursing. The Primary Care Nurse serves as the point of contact for elder information.
Required Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- 6 months of nursing experience in a healthcare facility (acute care, long term care, rehabilitation).
- Supervision/leadership experience.
