Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure to join our team in Easton, PA. The School Nurse will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our students while providing exceptional nursing care and promoting a safe and healthy school environment.

• Provide direct nursing care to students, including assessment, intervention, and follow-up for acute and chronic health conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Develop and implement individualized health care plans for students with chronic health conditions.
• Perform routine health screenings, including vision, hearing, and scoliosis assessments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student health records and confidential documentation.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to address health-related issues and promote student wellness.
• Educate students, staff, and parents on health topics, including disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and emergency procedures.
• Respond to and manage medical emergencies and coordinate care with emergency services when needed.
• Participate in school health and safety meetings and contribute to the development of health policies and procedures.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid.
• Previous experience in a school setting or pediatric nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage a wide range of health conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of state and federal health regulations related to school health.
